ACCREDITATION SERVICE FOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES (UK) 

Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC) is a not-for-profit accrediting committee in the UK. ASIC UK (www.asic.org.uk) is approved by the UK government to endorse non-state schools in the UK and in other countries whereas select and recruit foreign students. Established since 2002 in the UK, ASIC is currently providing accreditation services to more than 440 universities, colleges, institutes in the UK and more than 40 colleges and universities in other countries such as France, America, Denmark, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.

 

THE QUALITY INTERNATIONAL STUDY ABROAD NETWORK (UK)

The Quality International Study Abroad Network (QISAN) is a global network that enables the highest standards of working practice for Educational Institutions and the Agents who serve a vast range of International Students in terms of searching for studying abroad opportunities as well as student exchange programs.

Apart from helping students find the appropriate and qualified universities, QISAN also provide links between Educational Institutions across many countries, helping these universities and institutes not only improve their training quality by learning from each other but also establish and promote the international relation with potential partners in QISAN network

Established in 2007, until now, QISAN has more than 150 members, which are the leading educational institutions from all over the world such as UK, US, Japan, Singapore…. In Vietnam, with the progressive efforts in improving educational quality to meet and exceed the global standards, Nguyen Tat Thanh Institute of International Education (NIIE) was proud to become the first Vietnamese member of QISAN.

 

PEARSON (UK)

Pearson is the world’s leading learning company that brings together leading names in education to provide a blend of content, curricula, assessment, training and technology to make learning more engaging and effective. Established in 1836, today, with more than 80 years of experience in educational field, Pearson is also the UK’s largest awarding organization offering academic, vocational and work-based learning qualifications, including GSCE,LCCI and especially, BTECs  which is recognized and admitted by more than 70 countries with over 2.58 enrolments per year.

BTECs are career-based qualifications designed to give students the skills they need to move on to higher education or go straight into employment. The BTEC program has been officially taught in Vietnam since 2005. The BTECs include many levels, from the beginner to the Level 8 (Undergraduate degree) which strictly follow the framework of the British Qualifications Framework (NQF). These programs are designed to establish a high standard training system that exists in parallel with National university training programs and to be compatible with the international education system.

When combined with academic learning in a school or college, a BTEC develops a range of practical knowledge and skills which help learners to prepare for – and progress in – their chosen career. Therefore, more employers and Higher Education institutions than ever before are choosing BTEC-qualified candidates for their academic and practical knowledge and skills. Besides, the BTEC – qualified students also can continue study in other higher or top-up programs from a great number of Universities in UK, US, Australia…..

In 2009, NIIE (NTT Institute of International Education) was proud to be one of the first educational institutions in Vietnam teaching the BTECs program.
